Neptune Festival has become one of the Country’s Top 100 Festivals and Top 10 on the East Coast, bringing thousands of visitors to the Boardwalk. Our signature Boardwalk Weekend draws more than 400,000 people, including visitors from other countries. From free concerts and seaside wine tastings, to athletic events and a 30-block long celebration on the boardwalk, we are proud to celebrate the beach life! 1990, the show has built itself into being the tri-state area’s largest outdoor, juried art festival featuring approximately 300 different local and nationally known artists and crafters. Collectors, buyers, and designers will visit Main Street during the two-day, closed street event. The festival is free to the public and features artists from eight different disciplines: fiber, glass, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media, painting & drawing, photography, and wood & sculpture.

The Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show is a renowned outdoor art show held annually along the Virginia Beach boardwalk. As one of the longest-running art shows on the East Coast, it celebrates creativity by featuring exceptional works from artists across the country. The show has deep roots in the community, as Virginia MOCA itself grew out of this cherished event. What began as a local art show in 1952 has since evolved into the contemporary art museum known today, reflecting its dedication to inspiring and connecting through art.
